when my sons were that young, i would cook chicken breast, steam carrots and rice. then i would puree the chicken and carrots and mix with the rice. your son can eat with a spoon - tasty and healthyI need chicken and meat recipes for my one year old son???
I know nothing

I am 68 and no more babies GC = teens

BUT

if you use the crock pot and over cook a breast of chicken Just till it comes apart with a fork

You slice it bite size and it should near fall apart..same with beef and don't forget liver is very tender..

I thought Gerber made toddler foods..
I suggest trying dark meat chicken..like thighs..if you bake them, they are much softer than white meat. Shake -n- Bake makes them taste yummy, or you can use finely crush ritz crackers. But when you cut the meat for him, you'll notice it's much softer.

You can also cut your white meat into chunks, and then soak them in buttermilk. Buttermilk really tenderizes the chicken nicely. Overnight, or the morning of, would be best. Then just drain and coat them in breadcrums the way you usually do.

Ground beef is also great for little ones. Just make some meatballs using lean ground beef and seasoned breadcrumbs. You can bake them in the oven, and eliminate the need to fry them. You can make them really small, or make larger ones, and cut into bite sized pieces for him.
