Does anyone know a good recipe for oven-fried chicken?

Not Shake %26amp; Bake...and something crispy is preferred.Does anyone know a good recipe for oven-fried chicken?
Rice Krispie Chicken........ You take a box of Rice Krispies and put them in the blender until they are a powder. Then you melt a couple of sticks of butter and roll whatever kind of chicken you like around in the butter, then you roll in the Rice Krispies and you bake at 350 for 45 minutes to an hour or until done. You can also use cheezits. Very good recipe my moms invention :DDoes anyone know a good recipe for oven-fried chicken?
4 lb Chicken (6 portions)


4 Tb Oil


1 c Flour


1 ts Salt


1/2 ts Pepper

1 Spaghetti Sauce, large jar


16 oz Stewed Tomatoes


16 oz Noodles











1. Wash the chicken, cut away and discard excess skin and fat. Cut the chicken into pieces, dip into cold water and pat dry.


2. Shake the chicken pieces in a paper or plastic bag with seasoned flour (flour, salt and pepper).


3. Preheat Dutch oven. When it is hot, put in cooking oil and add the chicken pieces.


4. Brown thoroughly on both sides (about 20 minutes). Add additional oil if needed.


5. Put lid on oven and add coals on top. Bake over medium heat, basting the chicken occasionally with the cooking oil, for 20 minutes.


6. Turn the pieces over and cook until tender, about 20 minutes. (about 1 hour total cooking time)





Variations


a. Pour a large jar of spaghetti sauce and a 16 oz can of stewed tomatoes over the oven-fried chicken for the last 20 minutes cooking time. (Add an extra 10 minutes to the total cooking time.) Cook egg noodles and pour sauce from the oven over them.

INGREDIENTS:


1/2 cup margarine or butter


2 cloves garlic, minced


8 boneless chicken breast halves


2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese


1 cup fine dry bread crumbs


1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley or 2 tablespoon dried parsley flakes


1 teaspoon salt


1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper


PREPARATION:


In a saucepan over low heat, melt butter with minced garlic. Make a crumb mixture with bread crumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper. Dip chicken pieces in butter; roll in crumb mixture. Place in a 9- x13-inch baking dish and bake at 350掳 for 50 to 60 minutes
Season and flour your chicken. Put the chicken in an iron cast skillet and spray Pam on the chicken. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for forty-five minutes or until done. Turn the chicken over about twenty minutes into cooking.
not crispy, but really good.





marinate chicken in italian dressing in refrigerator for a couple of hours (even overnight if you have enough time)





roll the marinated chicken in seasoned bread crumbs.





bake at 350 (covered for 30 to 45 minutes hour) and finish uncovered to crisp up (but it won't ever get super crispy)
any of these previous recipes work great. i find that when i put the chicken on a wire rack it crisps more. put the chicken on a wire rack and then put the rack on a cookie sheet to catch any juices that run out.
Bisquick has a good recipe that comes out really good and crispy.

They have some really good ones and I've tried a few. I don't have them on me.
You can do the same thing with Ritz crackers...Works really well and actually fairly healthy.

Take raw chicken and dip it in milk, then flour, then egg, and finally crushed corn flake cereal. Then fry it in oil until the outside is golden brown then cook it in the oven until it's thoroughly cooked.
Oven Fried Chicken


1 tablespoon butter


2/3 cup all-purpose flour


1 1/2 teaspoons paprika


1 1/4 teaspoons salt


1/4 teaspoon pepper


3 to 3 1/2 pounds chicken pieces











Heat oven to 425掳. Put butter in a 13x9x2-inch baking pan; place the pan in the oven to melt butter.


Meanwhile, mix flour, paprika, salt, and pepper. Coat chicken pieces with the dry mixture; place skin sides down in hot melted butter in baking pan.





Bake chicken, uncovered, for 35 minutes; turn chicken pieces. Bake for about 15 to 20 minutes longer, or until juices run clear from thickest pieces. Oven fried chicken serves 4 to 6.
PUTTING CORNFLAKES ON THE CHICKEN IS VERY GOOD JUST BAKE THE CHICKEN THE REGULAR WAY AND APPLY THE CORNFLAKES
Pecan crusted chicken -Marinate chicken parts in a mixture of buttermilk with chopped garlic and ginger for at least 4 hours. Chop pecans in a food processor. Remove chicken from marinade and shake off any excess. Coat chicken with ground pecans, place on cookie sheet and spray chicken with PAM and bake.
