Good Old Fashioned Chicken Salad: you can omit the cole slaw dressing, I do!!! Just add extra mayo.

INGREDIENTS

2 boneless chicken breast halves, cooked

1/4 cup creamy salad dressing

4 tablespoons cole slaw dressing

1 stalk celery, chopped

1/4 onion, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

In a food processor, combine the chicken, creamy salad dressing, cole slaw dressing, celery, onion, and salt and pepper. Mix until well chopped.
Chicken salad can be anything you want it to be. I chop the chicken and add mayonnaise, mustard, dill pickle juice, salt and pepper. You can use sweet pickle juice if you like it better than dill. Also, if you like stuff in your chicken salad you can add chopped onion, pickle relish or cut up pieces of pickle, celery, even grapes, whatever sounds good to you.
I make my chciken salad like I do tuna salad.

I use white meat chicken instead of mixed white and dark.

So I have a bit of onion, lots of finely diced celery, bel pepper, swwet or dill pickle, you can agg an egg to it, but I don't usually, mayo and seasoning to taste. I use Lawry's Season Salt and black pepper.

'; Sometimes the best approach is the simplest one, as in this mix of chicken, mayonnaise, almonds and celery. Use herbed chicken for extra flavor. ';

INGREDIENTS:

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

2 cups chopped, cooked chicken meat

1/2 cup blanched slivered almonds

1 stalk celery, chopped

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place almonds in a frying pan. Toast over medium-high heat, shaking frequently. Watch carefully, as they burn easily.

2. In a medium bowl, mix together mayonnaise, lemon juice, and pepper. Toss with chicken, almonds, and celery.
I usually use about a pound of chicken chopped finely, about 1/4 large onion, minced, 2 sticks celery, minced, salt pepper and a couple dashes dried red pepper flakes, I stir/mix all those ingredients and add mayo, I don't use a specific amount, just enough that its a little overly moist for the chicken sucks all the moisture in.
cooked chicken, relish (sweet or dill), a little minced onion, and mayo or Miracle Whip. Plain and simple. You can add any veggies to that that you like. You said simple. (Like simple tuna salad.) (I use a little ground celery powder for flavor, I don't like to crunch into celery in a salad like this.)
I make mine with chicken, light mayo, a little celery salt, a little garlic power, and a small scoop of sour cream. Depending on my mood I will add red onion to it. Ever notice how everyone else's chicken salad always tastes better than your own? Don't get it - LOL
take some celery - tomatos - mayonaise and 1 live 3 pound chicken and put it all in a blender at high speed for about 10 minutes - absolutely to die for - ask the chicken he'll tell you - hey only kiddin - please don't report me - i have a family and can't afford to go to yahoo jail
I like mine with

chicken

mayo

mustard

diced celery

diced red onion

dill

salt and pepper to taste

cashews- chopped
