Does anybody have a restaurant quality chicken teriyaki marinade recipe?

Are you in North America? If you are go to your friendly neighborhood grocery store with an Asian food section. Yoshida's teriyaki sauce. Just marinate your chicken and grill. Tastes great and easy. If you want to make your own sauce;

Shoyu (soy sauce)

Brown sugar to taste

grated ginger root

The secret is to simmer your sauce then cool to room temp. and dry off your chicken before marinating.Does anybody have a restaurant quality chicken teriyaki marinade recipe?

Lachoy's teriyaki sauce in the purple bottle. It is soooo good. Especially if you cube the chicken, brown it then add the sauce and let it carmalize. Yummy!!!!!
I use this one all the time (the lemon is especially important, because the citric acid will help the marinade soak in)

1/2 c. soy sauce

1/2 c. packed brown sugar

1 T. lemon juice

1 T. grated ginger (less if you don't like it quite so hot, ginger powder will work too)

1 t. black pepper

1 t. garlic

Piercing meat with a fork helps this to soak in better, and allowing it to marinate for at least 24 hours makes it extra flavorful.
Tastefully Simple has a wonderfu teryaki sauce. Go to their websie and find saleswoman near you. Only about $8 a bottle.
