I love the sauce that harvester restaurants use does anyone know how I could make it at home?I need a recipe for kicking garlic chicken?
Well I don't know about the Harvester Restaurant but I can pretty much guarantee this is the best garlic chicken you'll have. This could very well be my favorite chicken recipe ever. And the sauce is SO yummy.
Garlic Chicken
4 small boneless skinless chicken breast halves (1 lb)
20 cloves garlic, peeled
戮 cup fat-free reduced-sodium chicken broth
录 cup Kraft light classic Caesar Dressing
录 cup Kraft grated parmesan cheese
1. Heat large nonstick skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken and garlic; cook 4 min., turning chicken after 2 min.
2. Stir in broth and dressing; cover with lid. Cook chicken 4 min on each side or until done.
3. Sprinkle with parmesan. Remove from heat. Let stand, covered, 1 min.
4. Serve with roasted vegetables.
Roasted Vegetables
*Place carrots and 1 inch cubed potatoes on a roasting pan, cover with olive oil, sea salt and seasoning and cook in a 425 degree oven for 25 minutes or until tender (stir halfway through cooking).
For seasoning I use a combination of black pepper, sea salt, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and a dash of red pepper
These roasted carrots and potatoes go so well with the chicken, I strongly recommend adding them, and they are so easy to make and so so tasty, too.I need a recipe for kicking garlic chicken?
Try something a little more different. :) try this recipe, You'll surely love this!
INGREDIENTS
1 chicken (approx. 2鈥?.25kg), cut into 10 pieces
1 head garlic, separated into unpeeled cloves
2 unwaxed lemons, cut into chunky eighths
small handful fresh thyme
3 tablespoons olive oil
150ml white wine
black pepper
Serving Size : Serves 4鈥?.
METHOD
1. Pre-heat the oven to 160掳C/gas mark 3.
2. Put the chicken pieces into a roasting tin and add the garlic cloves, lemon chunks and the thyme; just roughly pull the leaves off the stalks, leaving some intact for strewing over later. Add the oil and using your hands mix everything together, then spread the mixture out, making sure all the chicken pieces are skin side up.
3. Sprinkle over the white wine and grind on some pepper, then cover tightly with foil and put in the oven to cook, at flavour-intensifyingly low heat, for 2 hours.
4. Remove the foil from the roasting tin, and turn up the oven to 200掳C/gas mark 6. Cook the uncovered chicken for another 30鈥?5 minutes, by which time the skin on the meat will have turned golden brown and the lemons will have begun to scorch and caramelise at the edges.
5. I like to serve this as it is, straight from the roasting tin: so just strew with your remaining thyme and dole out.
Have a look if Harvester Restaurants have a webb site through google. Going by what your question asks, they must use lots of garlic, there is one clue.
Maybe a steel-capped boot would help you kick that chicken.
